Our Roots
It was October 7, 1973 when Pietro Paolo Amato, founder of Papini, opened the doors of success with his first shop in Catania.
A shop entirely dedicated to the men's collection, with a selection of classic and tailored garments.

Over the years Papini has become synonymous with elegance, with a refined style and attention to detail.
It has differentiated by focusing on originality but maintaining the essence of the company. Thanks to his son's vision, Papini expanded in 1998 with the opening of a new store. A space dedicated to clothing and accessories for men and women, with a selection of the most contemporary and trendy items. From the most fashionable luxury brands of the 90s such as Gucci, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Dsquared and Versace, to more avant-garde brands such as Comme des Garçons.

New Expansions
In 2004, the opening of the new shop in Ortigia made it possible to look to the future with innovation while keeping alive the values of the land. The historic center of the island which is the oldest part of the city of Syracuse; a mix of culture, able to revive the garments in a contemporary way. Probably the real masterpiece of the company continues to be the subtle balance between exclusivity and inclusiveness. In this lies the fascination with which the history of Papini continues to enchant fashion enthusiasts from all over the world today.
Digital Innovations
Fashion is becoming more and more digital and sustainable but it needs constant research. The arrival of the founder's children in the company leads Papini to a new turning point. While the classic was predominant, the new entered making a great noise. With an innovative look, PAPINI has observed and interpreted the trends of the moment. In 2017 Papini arrives online, initially through Farfetch and subsequently with the launch of its own personalized website and an exclusive selection of brands, designers and products.
